The Pen Pal Program has been a help to so many women living in isolation and silence. It allows them to receive information about their medicines, side effects, and stigma. And most important it allows them to receive support from “someone” else who is there. As a pen pal you do not feel so alone. You are part of a group and in a sisterhood of other women living with HIV. It’s inspiring to know “someone” is thinking about “You” and sending hope and love to brighten your day or your life. Remember HIV lives in your house but you are not HIV.
